About Sherrie Austin: She's opened for Johnny Cash, starred on "The Facts of Life" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and on Broadway in the lead role in "Ring of Fire." As an RCA/Arista recording artist her hits "Never Been Kissed", and "The Street of Heaven" are STILL Huge fan favorites and as a songwriter her songs have been cut by everyone from Blake Shelton, to Tim McGraw. Sherrie is very involved in Anti-Bullying and Suicide Awareness programs, and her new single by Morgan Frazier "Hey Bully" is climbing the charts.
About Jeff Jacob: From 3 years as a Staff Songwriter with The Songs of Love Foundation, to days spent rescuing dogs, Jeff has recently released his 6th full-length CD, "7 Days." He's produced numerous benefit projects and is currently gearing up to co-produce a benefit CD called "Songwriters for Soldiers" to benefit the coolest (behind the Thistle Stop Cafe) new non-profit in town, The Beat of Life, and it's partner organization SAFE. Oh, and did we tell you, he runs an uber-cool team-building business called "The Song Team" where he and amazing Nashville songwriters work with corporations and non-profits to help them better develop their team culture through collaborative songwriting!
About Jason Jones: Recently, Jason departed Warner Brothers after many years on their roster as both an artist AND songwriter. His hit "Ferris Wheel" still thrills audiences nation-wide and makes people smile with it's positive imagery. Currently Jason has just released with a group of amazing friends and artists, a brand new Christmas CD called "It's a Given Christmas." Fun and uplifting, it's a perfect new addition to anyone's holiday collection. Jason is aiming his music more and more towards being that of a prayerful and inspirational nature, as that is where his calling has lead him. Glad it's lead him to us tonight!
About Michael Hunter Ochs: Michael's music has been recorded in multiple genres including pop, country, rock, classical-crossover, contemporary Christian and Safro Jazz. He's been awarded Song Of The Year honors from both the Gospel Music Association (Dove Award) and the Nashville Songwriters International Association and his music has been featured in numerous major motion pictures and television soundtracks. In addition to his success in contemporary popular music, Ochs is universally recognized as a breakthrough composer in Hebrew/Jewish worship music.
About Forlorn Strangers: The Americana quartet, hailing from Florida, Maryland, & Minnesota, now call Nashville home. They are a mix of like-minded songwriters, exploring the folk and Americana genres and blending authentic styles and renderings of music. Their CD "While the Grass Grows" is now available.
