CORY CHISEL'S EVENING OF HOLIDAY MISCHIEF/ APPLETON, WI
APPLETON DOWNTOWN, INC AND U.S. BANK PRESENT: CORY CHISEL'S EVENING OF HOLIDAY MISCHIEF FEATURING THE CANDLES, ADRIEL DENAE, NICOLE RAE & A SLEIGH-FULL OF SPECIAL GUESTS
Singer-songwriter Cory Chisel will hold his annual holiday concert at Lawrence Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 PM. The show will be presented by Appleton Downtown, Inc. and U.S. Bank and will be produced by Mile of Music. Tickets are $25 and available for purchase online at www.brownpapertickets.com and will be available at Exclusive Company beginning November 11th.
Joining Cory Chisel this year will be his long-time collaborator, Adriel Denae, along with Mile of Music performers and Norah Jones' backing band, The Candles. Nicole Rae will also perform and a number of surprise guests are planned.
Chisel, who grew up in Appleton, has been performing in the area since childhood, where he was a member of the prestigious Appleton Boychoir. He has gone on to become a critically acclaimed recording artist who has been praised by Rolling Stone and The New York Times; played festivals such as Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Festival; appeared on Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show with David Letterman and Conan; and opened for artists such as Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams and more. Chisel, along with Appleton business owner Dave Willems, successfully launched the inaugural Mile of Music festival this past summer, bringing well-known musicians such as Rodney Crowell, Justin Townes Earle and more to play Appleton's downtown stages.
