Geoffrey Castle's Christmas Celebration
For the last 4 years, Geoffrey Castle's Christmas Celebrations have become a holiday tradition in Anacortes. It is the only community event of its kind in Skagit County, and it has raised thousands of dollars and in-kind donations for  the Anacortes Seafarers' Memorial Foundation,Toys for Tots, Boys and Girls Club, and the Rick Epting Foundation for the Arts Anacortes School After School Arts and Music Program.

Christmas magic is brought alive in an old fish warehouse in Anacortes. The local community is delighted by this free to the public Christmas Concerts Thousands of pounds of food are donated to the Anacortes 100 food bank. Money is raised for the Anacortes School District's Rick Epting Scholarship for underserved art and music students. A child's Christmas is made a little brighter with toys and games donated to Toys for Tots. The Elks Club who donates free refresments for the audience raise money for the Boy's and Girl's from their donation jar. The Anacortes High School Jazz Choir entertains with classic Christmas carols between the two shows.

The show is truly amazing with the talents of Cirque Du Solieil featured vocalist: Beth Quist, Rock and Roll Bagpiper Don, Aerialist Elves from Emerald City Trapeze Arts: Musicians including Jonathan Sindelman, Steve Boyce, T.J. Morris and Darin Watkins. The amazing Mac McDonald will be returning as Santa Claus and of course the magical violin of Geoffrey Castle.

Families are brought together for a brief moment in time to share a holiday memory and help those who are less fortunate.

Money raised from the ticket sales is a tax deductible donation to the Anacortes Seafarers' Memorial Foundation.

The mission of the Seafarers' Memorial Foundation is to oversee the upkeep and preservation of the Anacortes Seafarers' Memorial, to screen and approve applications for inclusion  of  names on the Memorial and when funds allow to ease the financial burden of the family members of those lost while making their living on the sea.
