Economic Inequality: Dividing America?
By objective measures, economic inequality in the US has increased dramatically since the 1970s.  It is much greater than in any other developed country.  Most treatments of this issue focus on social justice dimensions.  This panel will address the economic sustainability dimensions.

Is this causal analysis correct?
Is it something to worry about?
If problematic, how could / should it be addressed?

Panelists Jon Talton (Economic Columnist at The Seattle Times), John Carlson (KVI talk show host and co-founder of the Washington Policy Center), and Nick Hanauer (venture capitalist and supporting actor in Robert Reich's "Inequality For All") will present their views.  Extensive time for Q&A.  Networking before and after.

Tuesday evening, October 22, at the Nesholm Auditorium in McCaw Hall at Seattle Center.  Enter through Mercer Street doors, which open at 5:30 PM for networking.  Event runs 6:45-8:30.  Doors close at 9:00 PM.

$20 admission.  Beverages and light food available for purchase.
