Funkngroove Kicks off 2009
Be warned - Funkngroove is no boring cover band. After all, if we're not all having fun, we're not doing it right - and we know how to do it right!
This may be a surprise to you, but Funkngroove is actually a mobile classroom for students who want to learn by experience how important the word "entertainer" is to a "musician". Band members are hand selected by teacher and director Bruce Spitz. The band is part of the music program at Shoreline Community College and is a non-profit organization. All performance fees are spent entirely on covering the bands expenses and upgrading equipment.
