Sardines Out of A Can Screening Party and Special Guests - October 24
You are invited to come celebrate the completion of SARDINES OUT OF A CAN, a short film written and directed by SHONALI BHOWMIK, starring ADAM WADE, JOHN EARLY, SHONALI BHOWMIK, and CHRISTIAN FELIX, featuring music by Shannon Wright, Ted Leo, Marcellus Hall, Sam Jayne, Mighty Challenger, K. Michelle DuBois, The Tenement Halls, The Levitations and more. We will have three separate screenings of the film along with special performances by Adam Wade, John Early, Sam Jayne, Shonali and perhaps some surprise guests all w/in the intimate setting of the Wythe Hotel Screening Room in Williamsburg, NY.
SHONALI BHOWMIK - host of the longtime comedy hit show Variety Shac at the UCB Theatre and the leader of the indie rock band Tigers and Monkeys just decided she had to get something out of her system related to sardines. She recently released a solo album entitled 100 Oaks Revival on her own label Little Lamb Recordings. She is also one of the leaders of Atlanta's Ultrababyfat which was featured on tour with David Cross in the DVD "Let America Laugh."
