Jim Curry's John Denver Tribute Concert & Ecology Photo Journey by Danny Catt
The evening opens with Rotary Scholar Danny Catt, a wildlife ecologist, educator at British Columbia Institute of Technology, and photographer with a passion for world travel and nature conservation. He speaks across the globe on ecology and sustainability, and his photos have been published in Canadian Geographic, Chinese Geographic, Maclean's and TIME magazines.
After a short intermission Jim Curry and his band present the Music of John Denver. Renowned singer Jim Curry brings the timeless music of John Denver to life again. Curry has captivated audiences from large arenas including Red Rocks Amphitheater, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and The Palladium to small intimate theaters across the country and everything in between. Joining the stage is John Sommers, the author of five songs that Denver recorded with one being the most popular, chart topping hit "Thank God I'm A Country Boy".
