Northwest Hawai`i `Ohana Hawaiian Dance Company will present their Fall 2013 Ho`ike and Hawaii Style Dinner on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the American Legion Post Hall #7 in Bellingham located at 1688 Bakerview Rd. The event is scheduled from 4:00 - 8:30 pm.
Hula exhibition by the students of Northwest Hawai`i `Ohana Hawaiian Dance Company, under the direction of Kumu Hula Manuiki Lono.
With special guest performance, Elias Ka'uhane
A true "island son", Elias Jr. was born on the island of O'ahu and raised in the windward town of Kane'ohe. As a member of the acclaimed Kamehameha Schools Concert Glee Choir he sang tenor alongside with Tony Conjugacion, Lopaka Ho'opii, Pomaikai Brown, Rupert Tripp, Jr., Weymouth Kamakana and other noted vocalist. His love for Hawaiian music was deeply ingrained under the guidance of his music instructors Robert Cazimero, Wayne Chang, Zillah Young and Dale Noble.
