Water Conservation: A Cinematic Exploration of the Intelligent Use of Water

The evening's cinematic exploration will begin with an outdoor reception with beverages, hors d'oeuvres. Immediately following, Master of Ceremonies,
Shalini Kantayya, 2007 Audience Choice Award Winner and owner of 7th Empire Productions, will present a screening of short films that portray creative solutions to water conservation. These films were selected from all entries submitted during the Rain Bird's Intelligent Use of Water Film Competition. The panel of judges will select one film and award a prize of $6,000 to the winner. The audience will also select one film, with the winner receiving a $3,000 prize.
