Masterclass: w/ High Rankin ft Tigerlight
A new series of events showcasing the absolute best artists in Bass Music from around the world.
High Rankin:
Signed to Underdogs Management in July 2008 and since then has released his lauded EP's on Herve's Cheap Thrills label, as well as featuring tracks on Jay Cunning's new Sub Slayers label, with his own Suicide Dub imprint now in full flow. Added to this, he achieved a development publishing deal with Bucks Music Group and his live performances have become highly in demand across the UK, Europe and Russia. Ever the avid remixer, his remixes for Kevin Rudolf, Missy Eliot, B Real (Cypress Hill), Skunk Anansie, Adam Freeland and Amon Tobin Professor Green, etc have garnered him even further acclaim. He has achieved regular play listing and guest appearances on Radio 1 and Kiss FM for his own work and recent releases. 2010 sees him return to his true passion - releasing his increasingly diverse music in completely the way he wants. His work has reached well over a million hits on YouTube and his online presence, especially, grows by the second, with recent single 'Don't Carry On Like A Rude Boy When Daddy's Got A Yacht' getting over 20,000 plays on Soundcloud a month before it's official release.
Tigetlight:
Grew up between Helsinki, Berlin and London, speaking Swedish, German & English, as close to her Scandinavian roots as to her British ones. She started writing songs when she was a kid and now Tigerlight's tunes have now collected many million hits on youtube, countless plays on BBC Radio One, advert synchronization and featured on film soundtracks.
Her voice can be heard amongst DJ's sets across Europe every weekend. She's spent the last 12 months performing to thousands of people and in 2013 Tigerlight will go live in the US this touring with High Rankin. She writes and produces her own tracks and is now taking live bookings for her new live set where she simultaneously sings and DJs.
She writes weekly comedy sketches for the 1xtra Crissy Criss DnB show and also works as a topline writer & film composer. Her clients have included Beuna Vista, RTL, The European Court of Justice and Nokia.
Her Document One and Maksim Mc collab 'Moving Together' now has over a million hits on youtube, their second collab 'Already Lost' has over 500,000 hits on youtube and her facebook page at 10,600 followers, her social networks are growing everyday.
She has released records with labels 'Never Say Die', Universal Music, 'Bazooka', 'Buygore', 'Suicide Dub' and producers: High Rankin, Document One, Dodge and Fuski and Far Too Loud with more high profile collabs coming out this year.
She has also worked as a backing vocalist for X-Factor & Britain's Got Talent including recording backing vocals for Beyonce, Westlife, George Michael, Christina Aguilera, Robbie Williams and Rhianna and recording with Andrew Lloyd Webber for Nicola Scherzinger amongst others.
Past live shows as a featured vocalist: Largest Bass Music stage at The Secret Garden Party Festival, The Main 'Glade' Stage at Glade Festival, Largest Bass Music stage at Boomtown Festival, Lovebox Festival, Brixton Electric supporting the Dub Pistols, Headlining KOKO in Camden, Headline shows in Brighton at The Concorde 2 and The Brighton Coalition and The Basscamp Festival (France).
