Third in a series of musical gems, this concert featuring one of Hawaii's most loved recording artists, Jerry Santos of Olomana, and the very talented Kamuela Kimokeo, who will capture your hearts with some of Hawaii's most soulful local favorites. Jerry Santos
Best known for his work in the musical group Olomana, Jerry Santos has been a familiar presence on the Hawaii music scene for the past 4 decades. Born and raised on the windward side of Oahu, Jerry is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools. As a founding member and lead singer of the group Olomana, he helped to create a unique and easily recognizable musical style, blending Hawaiian music with contemporary rhythms. His work has been recognized by the Hawaii musical community with numerous Na Hökü Hanohano awards. Amongst them are awards for male vocalist of the year, for both traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, and a composer's award for his composition "Come to Me Gently". In 2008, along with his Olomana partners, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for their body of work over the years. In 2012 Olomana was inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame. Whether performing as a soloist, or with his group Olomana, Jerry Santos generates music from the heart with Aloha!

Kamuela Kimokeo
Kamuela Kimokeo is a member of the Na Hoku Hanohano award winning group Hi'ikua. He started performing professionally with his Dad in Waikiki when he was 14 years old. He has toured with the likes of Jerry Santos, Amy Hanaiali'i and Raiatea Helm and has been mentored by some of Hawaii's greats. As a recording artist he was also a part of the Grammy Nominated and Hoku award winning album Slack Key Kings Vol. II as well as with the Multi- Na Hoku Hanohano award nominated album Pilioha. Kamuela is finishing his PhD in Education (Curriculum and instruction/Music emphasis) and has had the opportunity to present his music research in national and international arenas.
