80's Tanzparty & Open House
DANK Haus German American Cultural Center, well known for regular recitals of Mozarts's works, offers something a bit more suited to a hot night in July with a little "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco.
New Wave music in the 80's was heavily influenced by the German scene. "Die Neue Deutsche Welle" genre made a lasting impact in America with unforgettable music videos and catchy tracks. Attendees who learned German from classics like "99 Luftballoons" and "Der Kommissar" will dance and sing all evening long. Neon clothes, gravity defying hair and fierce blush willkommen.
