Diane Lines has performed on six continents and appeared with a variety of entertainers. She was the pianist for Grammy nominated Michael Bublé for two years and has recorded and toured with Canadian Juno Award winning singer/songwriter Gary Fjellgaard.
Now based in Vancouver, B.C., Lines most recently became the third member of the popular Acoustic Groove Trio with percussionist Tony Chamberlist and guitarist/vocalist Michael Taylor. Her theatre credits include the Arts Club Theatre's acclaimed production of "Tapestry: A Tribute to Carole King."
In her show "Jump!" Lines and her band forge a uniquely feminine approach to the era of jump blues; the era that combined elements of swing, blues and boogie-woogie; the era that predicted mainstream rock and roll and the popular music of a generation! Driving rhythms, vocal harmonies clever lyrics and superb musicianship, exemplify the fun and flavor of the Jump Blues era in American music. Lines and her band combine energy, high-octane musicianship and natural witmaking the audience "feel they are at a great musical party with a personal friend."
