Please join the JazzMN Orchestra, Minnesota's premier 17-piece classic-to-contemporary jazz ensemble for a night featuring virtuosic pianist Kenny Drew, Jr!
Kenny is the son of pianist Kenny Drew who performed with John Coltrane. His music is known for its hard-swinging bluesy sound and large, two-handed rooty chords contrasting with fast runs. His style is said to be similar to that of his father and Oscar Peterson.
In 1990, Kenny won the Great American Jazz Piano competition in Jacksonville, Florida.
