Spring Fling Silent Auction and Bunco Night
Delightful Divas & 907 Men are proud to support Zonta, a non-profit that is part of the United Nations efforts to prevent violence towards women and support the advancement of women worldwide, is raising funds through our Spring Fling Silent Auction and Bunco Night. Light finger food will be served along with some spirited fun, cheer and good humor. No host bar cash please. Please come enjoy a night of fun and fellowship in helping Zonta raise funds for scholarships. Prizes for most buncos, baby buncos and a great door prize. For the fee of 45.00 you could take home a gift valued at 500.00 or you could win a silent auction item or one of the bunco prizes. Prize for the person who gets credit for the most attendees!
Proceeds raised will benefit the Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship and Amelia Earhart Fellowship.
The Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Awards program recognizes young women for their demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to public service and civic causes. It encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life. The Zonta Club of Anchorage gives this scholarship annually to an Anchorage resident. The recipient is then qualified to receive the international scholarship
Established in 1938 in honor of famed pilot and Zontian, Amelia Earhart, the Amelia Earhart Fellowship is awarded annually to women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering.
