Farm to Feast* 2013
Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm presents the 7th Annual Farm to Feast Dinner and Auction on our biodynamic farm. The event includes pre-dinner wine tasting with award-winning local winemakers, online and silent auctions, a Summerfield-sourced farm-to-table dinner, live musical entertainment and a student art gallery. Guests can enjoy a bonfire at dusk, as well as dancing to Arann Harris and The Farm Band under Summerfield's circus tent! Bring your warm coats and comfortable shoes for this simply elegant, yet relaxed celebratory fundraiser out on the farm.
Chefs Traci Des Jardins of Jardiniere and Mijita, Duskie Estes and John Stewart of Zazu and Black Pig Meat Co., Lowell Sheldon of Peter Lowell's Restaurant, and Mat Peterson of Summerfield prepare a dinner that includes dessert by Patricia Taan of Farmhouse Inn with service orchestrated by Nick Peyton of Cyrus. Wineries include Claypool Cellars, Coturri, Davis Family Vineyard, Littorai, Martinelli, Paul Dolan, Porter-Bass, Small Vines and Truett Hurst.
