Blue Monarch Presents The Annika Forrest Project with Special Guest Nuclear Grizzly
Welcoming to the stage for the first time together, we are proud and honored to present The Annika Forrest Project: Singer-songwriter Annika Forrest on lead vocals and guitar; Eric Montgomery on drums, keyboard and back up vocals; Rick Bouvette on bass and percussion, and Jeff Horton on electric guitar. They will be playing original songs from their newly-released album "Fountain", a heart-felt, vibrant, deep collection which may just make you wanna get up and dance!
Annika Forrest is a native Oregonian singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist. She grew up in the mountains of Oregon's coastal range. Surrounded by artists and musicians, she began singing, playing clarinet and piano, composing and performing at an early age. She picked up a guitar and began writing songs at the age of eighteen.
A prolific and eclectic musician for the last two decades, Annika has performed solo and in several bands. Her songs reveal her great love of folk and bluegrass music, while weaving in elements of blues, jazz and rock. She writes to inspire and imbues her songs with a soulful, heartfelt message.
Special Guest, Nuclear Grizzly, is the music project of Dylan Paris Stephens. Combining elements of Pop, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Indie Rock, and Acoustic genres, Nuclear Grizzly aims to make music with a soul. Dylan, who produces and sings on every track, has been making music since he first touched a keyboard at age four, and has been making tunes as Nuclear Grizzly since 2009.
Inspired by a multitude of artists across a wide variety of genres, Nuclear Grizzly blends sounds in sometimes unexpected ways, but keeps a pop music core. His latest tracks are acoustic, written in classic pop style, and infused with a beating heart.
