Summer Festival Sanitation Seminar @Kitchen Chicago
Monday, April 29, 4p-7p, Kitchen Chicago
This 3-hour course is required by Chicago Health Dept. for anyone selling prepared food in neighborhood festivals, farmer's markets, or any other temporary event. The class is required each year. There is no test.
NOTE: This is NOT the 2-day ServSafe Class required to work inside a food business.
$36 fee gets you certified with instructor Zina Murray, former operator of Logan Square Kitchen and former Logan Square Farmer's Market vendor. Zina's experience and demos make this the best Summer Sanitation Class by far.
Students receive their certificate 7-10 days after the class.
Our thanks go out to Alexis Leverenz, Kitchen Chicago's owner, for making her place available for our food community. Free parking is available on the street, and students are also free to use Kitchen Chicago parking spaces in the lot. Input door code at ground floor, and take elevator to first floor.
