Youth Venture Summer Camp
Want to design a mobile app that can change the world?  Interested in starting your own business?  Are you a leader?  Are you passionate about an issue like the environment, poverty, human rights, animal rights, healthcare or education?  Are you looking for a unique experience to add to your college apps?

At the Youth Venture Summer Camp, you and your team will create an innovative  app to solve a social issue you care about.   Top teams receive up to $1000 in seed funding.

Choose from 3 sessions camp runs from 9am-3pm M-F

July 15 - 19     at Seattle Academy (only available to SAAS students)
July 22 - 26     at F5 Networks - design and tech theme
July 29 - Aug 2  at Cleveland High School

Examples of Past Youth Venture Teams:

Student Career Network founded during the summer camp by Jo Yee Yap in 2011, SCN helps match students with volunteer opportunities around Seattle. In addition they teach tailored workshops about resume building and interviewing to other high school students. Jo Yee Yap was named the Ernst & Young 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' in 2013. AshokaYouthVentures-2013-97

Student RND founded by Edward Jiang to give high schoolers a place to learn about technology in a hands on way.  Student RND went on to win the Social Innovation Fast Pitch competition in 2012




Media Solutions founded to give students the opportunity to learn and practice video and digital production skills.  The team now produces commercials and marketing materials for local businesses while employing teens.





Ecoviate uses principles of chemistry and technology to build green gadgets for the future
