The Gatsby Club presents: An Evening of Slapstick!
We are delighted to announce that The Gatsby Club will return on Saturday 9th March at the opulent period surroundings of Glasgow University Union, home to Scotland's largest 1920's themed cabaret and club night!
You'll laugh until your sides split! You'll encounter moments which may exceed the boundaries of common sense! Ladies and gentlemen, The Gatsby Club presents...
'AN EVENING OF SLAPSTICK!'
Dress Code: Think black & white films, mime artists, bowler hats, banana skirts, moustaches (real or fake!), flapper dresses, top hat and tails, old Hollywood, vamps & vixens, face-paint, dramatic make-up! Dress to impress but please no riff-raff!
** CABARET SHOW / LIVE BAND / DJ SET **
The centrepiece of the evening's entertainment! You will be dazzled by bright lights, lavish surroundings and a beautiful stage which plays host to our fabulous show. Settle down at one of our candle-lit tables and prepare for the show to begin. Enjoy a line-up of music hall variety, cabaret acts, burlesque performers, dancers, comedy, singers and more!

After the show enjoy The Gatsby Club's very own live house band BLACK DIAMONDS HAVANA BAND followed by Disc Jockey LORD HOLYRUDE who will keep toes tapping into the small hours as he spins records from the early 20th century to modern electro-swing numbers.

Cast your eye upon The Gatsby Club's exclusive cocktail menu, sure to please your taste-buds for the evening. Choose from a range of cocktails including 20's classics such as the Harvey Wallbanger, Japanese Slipper, White Russian & Rusty Nail, to name but a few! All cocktails are priced at a very generous £3! Why not recline on a luxurious chesterfield sofa whilst soaking up the sounds of the twenties.
** THE 'ODIUM' SILENT MOVIE THEATRE **
Cocktail in hand, make yourself comfortable as you're transported back in time with an array of silent films celebrating the 'slapstick' genre for your viewing pleasure. Quite simply the best way to relax before and after the show!
