Benefit Concert and Silent Auction for Pine Meadow Farm Center
A benefit concert for the Pine Meadow Farm Center will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Spokane, WA on March 8th, 2013. The Pine Meadow Farm Center, a non-profit educational farm, is a regional destination for experiential education on nutrition, farming, gardening, food-system literacy and sustainable living skills. The Center has programs for audiences of all ages and depends on community support to keep going. This family-friendly concert will feature Todd Milne & Blake Abyss (world music), Visual Vortex(hula hoop-troupe), and Terrible Buttons(modern folk). The event will include a silent auction with items donated by local businesses. There will be Pine Meadow Farm CSA shares for sale (a share sets you up to receive a weekly box of super-fresh produce from the farm). There will also be a raffle for one CSA share ($400 value). Tickets are $10 (donations accepted for children 12 and under). Event starts at 6:30, music to begin at 7:00.
