Dandy Darklys Myth Mouth! - Best of the Fringe Benefit Performance
"Dandy Darklys Myth Mouth!" returns for one performance to benefit the 2018 San Francisco Fringe Festival. Dandy Darkly makes his San Francisco debut! Dandy is New York Citys alt-cabaret, cult sensation with a masterful and mesmerizing style of Southern gothic storytelling that has astounded critics and delighted audiences at Fringe festivals and theaters across the globe.
His latest show, Dandy Darklys Myth Mouth!, explores themes of religion, addiction and social media obsession via satirical tales concerning a junkie Persephone, space-pup Laika, virtual reality fixation and humanitys premiere popinjay, Cha-Cha the Caveman. Dandy unwinds his delirious tales of sex and death alongside nonstop, original music and eclectic sound effects to create a truly immersive storytelling experience. Prepare yourself San Fran, Dandy Darkly must be seen to be believed.

Fantastical fairytale horror, equal parts Tennessee Williams, Edgar Allen Poe and Bruce LaBruce with a dash of Brothers Grimm for good measure.  (Time Out)

Simply one of the most thoughtful, hilarious and harrowing queer talents at work today.  (Scotsgay Magazine)

A decidedly wicked storyteller. (New York Times)

The preeminent King of Halloween! (Out Magazine)

Storytelling that goes beyond simple tales  rhythmic, hypnotic, entrancing.  (Broadway Baby)

Brilliantly written  like something Joseph Campbell, Kenneth Anger and Paul Lynde would concoct after passing around a gourd filled with shrooms. (The Villager)

Stories of gruesomely compelling verve; a cross between Pam Ayres, Liberace and Tales from the Crypt.  (The Scotsman)

The Homer of the 21st century. (Washington Square News).
