Chicago-born singer/songwriter/composer Subhi's music showcases a blend of her Indian roots, pop, the jazz culture of her hometown, and everything in-between. At her first Red Poppy performance, shell be presenting selections from her debut album, Shaitaan Dil (Naughty Heart), written during her travels between Mumbai and Chicago, as well as the Indian jazz album shes currently producing.

Subhis songs have been featured on NPR (WBEZ), WLUW 88.7 FM (Radio One Chicago), WGN-TV and international show Music from around the World on WHPK 88.5 FM and WKCR. She has performed at several venues in Chicago, including the Whistler (for the Star Align Series), Navy Piers Live on the Lake series, Chicago Park Districts Music in the Parks, and SoFar Sounds Chicago.
