Quiet City #35: High Plains, Wild Card, Gretchen Snakes
Quiet City is a series of deep-listening concerts in Vancouver, focused on live performances of experimental, electronic and improvised music in a comfortable and intimate setting. Established in January 2010, we are now in our eighth year of programming.
The thirty-fifth edition of this series will be featuring performances by: Gretchen Snakes High Plains (Madison/Vancouver) Wild Card (Portland)

Gretchen Snakes is the solo project of the hyper-prolific Brody McKnight, member of Nu Sensae, V. Vecker Ensemble, Heavy Chains, Mutators, and Sex Negatives.
HIGH PLAINS https://highplainskranky.bandcamp.com/
High Plains is the new duo of Scott Morgan (Loscil) and Mark Bridges, who recently released their debut album Cinderland on Kranky Records. Combining electronics, cello, and field recordings, High Plains draw from classical, electronic, and film music but mostly are inspired by the rugged, mythic landscape of their geographical namesake.
