The Great Turning: Prayers from the heart
The great turning is happening NOW as we turn towards a life sustaining model of community, generosity and interconnectedness. We have enormous power and our hearts songs are weaving a new tapestry in the collective consciousness of our human family. Gaia is our home. It's time we reclaim the earth as our sacred altar.
On New Year's Day we will gather together for a planetary prayer ceremony like no other. Be prepared to sing, pray, listen, cry, visualize, meditate, laugh, dream, and make beautiful music. Bring your drums and percussion!
With visionary spiritual teacher Spring Washam, Co-Founder of the East Bay Meditation Center, as your hostess and guide for the evening we will gather together with some of the bay area's most talented musicians and wisdom keepers including Po A Tree, Turtle Women Rising, Joanna Macy, Broderick Rodell, Iamani I. Ameni and others.

All proceeds from this event go to benefit The Sujata Project, a new Oakland project in development focused on daylong and overnight retreats for women and low income communities. The work will be centered around healing ancestral trauma and violence using indigenous healing practices.
