Ian Dogole & Music Beyond Borders Live Performance in San Rafael!
Please join us for a concert of adventurous music that pushes the envelope straddling the intersections of jazz, world music and free improvisation. Instruments from Africa, South America, Europe and the Middle East will be played in concert with more traditional Western instruments. Ians group will be performing compositions by Ian Dogole, Paul McCandless, Onaje Alan Gumbs, Dave Holland, Ralph Towner and William E. Lee (Spike Lees father), just to name a few.
This event will take place at JB Piano Company's wonderful performance space, just minutes from downtown San Rafael. This represents the first time this exact lineup has performed together. Please join us for the journey.
