National Wildlife Conservation Conference
Conservation of a population, one Mountain Gorilla at a time: The talk will address the status and pressures on the Mountain Gorilla population. A "one health" approach will be addressed and how " the Gorilla Doctors" perform individual veterinary treatments in the wild and monitor the health trends in the population as a whole. The summary will include data to show the effectiveness of the approach.
