Journey of the Silk Road
Travel through the fabled lands of the Silk Road, where music and dance celebrate the bounty of nature in mystic rituals and vibrant cultures. Internationally acclaimed performer and dance ethnologist Farima Berenji and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Gold share sacred, classical and folkloric dance and music of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikstan, Persia and Turkey, together with members of the Simorgh Dance Collective and Caravan El Noor.
