Ojai Film Society and Ojai Art Center Present: In Her Name
When 14-year-old Kalinka Bamberski is found dead at the home of her German stepfather Dieter, a doctor, her biological father André launches a painstaking search for the truth behind her demise. This true story spans three decades, involves the legal maneuverings of two countries, Germany and France, and leads to allegations of infidelity, doping, predatory assault and murder. Through it all, André Bamberski, played by esteemed actor Daniel Auteuil, never loses faith that he must right a terrible wrong. Obstinate, unflagging and half-mad with anger, Bamberski drives himself forward, his only purpose in life to redeem his deceased daughter.
