Starring the acclaimed Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Valhalla Rising) and German standout Jessica Schwarz, and based on the novel by Turkish-German author Akif Pirinçci: This mystery thriller's action centers on the formerly successful painter, David, who has lost control over his life after causing the death of his seven-year-old daughter Leonie. One day, five years later, he discovers a door which gives him the opportunity to start all over again. What initially appears to be a wonderful chance for a new beginning turns out into a horrifying scenario as not everything in the "past" is quite as it seems.
