"What Makes it Great" with host Rob Kapilow, featuring the American Boychoir, in partnership with WWFM, the Classical Network.
The three-part program begins with a demonstration and discussion of the Britten's Ceremony of Carols, with Kapilow conducting the American Boychoir in short excerpts, prompting the audience to make new discoveries and engage in active listening. After a brief intermission, the Boychoir performs the work in its entirety under the direction of Litton-Lodal Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz, followed by an audience Q&A.

A favorite among critics and audiences alike, Kapilow's series delves into a deep exploration of classical music in an accessible way that excites people of all ages and backgrounds. The Boston Globe raves, an educator, motivational speaker, and game show host, all rolled up in one ...
