The Heart of The Song
We will explore the heart of the song and the song of your heart by working collaboratively and individually. Drawing from the right side of the brain, we will explore creativity by doing a series of writing exercises that are fun, inventive and spirited. These exercises will help you find your song, be it just lyrics or music and lyrics.
You don't need to be a musician to take this class. Songwriting is a "learnable" skill.
Bring a writing journal, a rhyming dictionary (if you have one) and your instrument, even if it is only your voice. My goal is to help you reach deeply into your own creativity.
