Free Harmony 2017
Put simply, it is a place for people of all ages to come together, unplug from the hustle and bustle of modern life and spend some time getting reacquainted with nature and celebrating the unique gifts that everyone has to offer.
We experience too much of our lives through a screen. The abundance of technology we have at our disposal means we have more friends than ever, but often at the cost of tangible connections with other human beings. Here at Free Harmony Festival, we offer the opportunity and space to unplug, reconnect with nature and build a community based on love, acceptance and human interaction.
Nestled in the idyllic Somerset countryside, Free Harmony is an independent arts and wellbeing festival celebrating the creative and expressive nature within all of us. No matter who you are or where you have come from, you will be accepted and loved as part of our diverse community.
In the daytime, there are many things to do, such as yoga sessions, massages, talks on sustainability, spoken word and poetry recitals, an acoustic stage, the list goes on. Then as evening draws near the main stage fires into life, playing host to a broad range of musical styles and acts that are guaranteed to get you grooving. Every night ends with a gathering around a large fire and the sounds of laughter, conversation and singing dance with the flames; at Free Harmony, everybody is the headline act.
We believe that it is important to fuel yourself properly so you can be at your best. That is why we offer freshly cooked meals made only from quality organic products, at friendly prices. You can also warm your soul with our good friends from Mr Teas Teas, who will be offering a range of hand-blended, ethically sourced teas and refreshments; perfect to keep you warm under the stars.
The festival site has changed for 2017 and it is absolutely beautiful, with a river meadow, secluded fields and beautiful trees surrounding enchanting fields, be sure to pack your trusty festival tent! Campervans and caravans are allowed onsite, depending on the condition of the grass. The site has compost toilets, wood fired hot showers and parking. In the interest of protecting the environment be sure to check out our carpool Facebook group, lets try and burn as little fuel as possible.
We take great pride in what we do and work hard with those around us to make Free Harmony the perfect festival. So keep the diary clear because wed love to see you there.
