Popular culture has been obsessed with all things Tudor in recent years, and more people than ever are interested in the important and influential courts of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. We will perform lovely works written by Henry VIII himself as well as masterpieces from the court composers of both rulers. Our renowned singers will present solo and small ensemble vocal works, and viola da gamba superstar Mary Springfels will lead our consort of viols.
