Jr. Derby Tuesday - Advanced Skills
Gotham Girls' coaches will cover advanced skating and derby skills, such as backwards skating, agility and footwork, and advanced jamming and blocking skills. This class is for girls who have mastered basic skills and are cleared for contact and scrimmaging. You must have your own skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouthguard. In addition all skaters must purchase a $35 USARS membership. Basic skating and derby skills are required (basic skating form including crossovers, safe falls, starts, stops, comfortability with light contact).
Junior derby Tuesday sessions consist of 3 weeks of classes on Tuesday evenings at our "Crashpad". You can sign-up here for the full course - classes are cumulative and the cost for the 3 week package is $65.
Please also note that we reserve the right to cancel this class with one week of notice in the case of insufficient interest. In the event of cancellation, skaters will be issued a refund.
