Donnie Iris, 70s music icon, will make a special visit to his hometown for an exclusive concert on the WEEKEND OF KINGS! Iris skyrocketed in the music business as part of The Jaggerz. He helped form the band Wild Cherry, then wrote and recorded the hit Play That Funky Music, White Boy. After Wild Cherrys run, Iris moved on to form Donnie Iris and the Cruisers, who are famous for many singles including Ah! Leah! and Love Is Like A Rock. Donnie has toured with artists such as Journey, Bryan Adams, Foreigner and Bon Jovi. KING COOL hits the stage for another phenomenal performance that only Donnie Iris can do! Don't miss all your favorite hits along with a few surprises throughout the evening.

HIGHLIGHT:
The Tim Woods Trio will be opening for Donnie Iris. Tim is a Blues Hall Of Fame inductee. With a repertoire of more than 200 songs, Tim performs regionally and nationally in various configurations, including solo shows, trios and his new five-piece band, The Tim Woods Band. Tim strongly believes in musicians supporting other musicians and cherishes the moments that he shares on stage with other artists and friends.
