Beer, Brats & Bluegrass Festival
The 2016 Beer, Brat and Bluegrass Festival is a two day outdoor concert held at beautiful and historic Depot Square in downtown Evanston, Wyoming on Friday, June 17th from 5pm 10pm and Saturday, June 18th from noon to 10pm.
The festival features nine bands of varying musical styles from traditional and progressive bluegrass to newgrass and a little rock and roll. Fridays line up includes Blue Canyon Boys, Hillfolk Noir and Jalan Crossland; Saturdays schedule features Far West Bluegrass, Kathy Boyd & Phoenix Rising, Canyon Kids, Free the Honey, One Ton Pig and Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband.
This is a fundraiser for Bluegrass Evanstons Global and Local Educational Initiative provides entertainment for the whole family. Award winning music will fill the air in this beautiful setting on Friday and Saturday. Artists, from jewelry makers, to basket weavers and painters, will be selling their wares. And, of course, there will be food booths to satisfy every taste and a beer and wine alley serving handcrafted microbrews, domestic beers and wine throughout the day.
The Beer, Brats & Bluegrass Festival admission is $20 per day or $30 for a weekend pass. Admission for students ages 13-18 is $5 per day and for children 0-12 its free.
