Come To The Garden - Live on Stage!
Come and make history with us and enjoy a very special evening with effervescent storyteller and author Jennifer Wilder Morgan, as she interacts with animated characters and scenery on stage from her highly anticipated book, COME TO THE GARDEN. For the first time in a feature-length stage show, groundbreaking three-dimensional and holographic technology is used to create a fusion of live action and animation, creating a unique and immersive live experience.
Featured character voiceover performances include Emmy-winner and Today Show host Kathie Lee Gifford, Academy Award-winner Louis Gossett, Jr. (voice of God) and popular faith comedienne Chonda Pierce (humorous angel who guides Jennifer). Director Ken Carpenter is an award-winning filmmaker of features and concert films (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith) and animator Jack Hattingh is a world renown pioneer of 3D animation and concert films (Rolling Stones, Sting, Bon Jovi). Our music composer is the gifted Tyler Michael Smith. There will be a post-show discussion with Jennifer and special guest William Paul Young, author of THE SHACK.
Join Jennifer as she retraces her unique journey, deepest fears, and life-changing discoveries, and recreates the private garden where she threw open her heart to the possibility of Divine encounters. In this sacred space and with guidance from her humorous guardian angel, Margaret, Jenn journeys through a human understanding of the unknown, and renders it ultimately knowable through the inspired inner voices she believes are available to us all.
As a preview event in its first performance, the producers are offering tickets at a deep discount price of $5.00. The author would appreciate a purchase of her paperback book (optional) at the show. Audience members will be the first to see the book before its release, and both Jennifer Wilder Morgan and William Paul Young will be available after the show to sign your book. A limited number of Mr. Young's books will be available for sale at the show, but you are welcome to bring your own copy of his books for signing. Total length, including intermission and the post-show discussion and audience Q&A segment with Mr. Young, is about 1 hr., 50 mins.
If seats are still available, tickets will be sold at the door for $7.
IMPORTANT AUDIENCE NOTE: this event will be filmed for a national cinema event, and by purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to allow the rights holder, WilderTales, LLC, to use your name, image, likeness and voice in the film as an audience member. You may be asked to sign a simple talent waiver at the door. No guests under six years old, please.
Because we are using new technology in a manner never before used in such a format, with complex choreography, we may have imperfections in our launch show and some seats will have better viewing than others due to the nature of the 3D projection. So thanks for forgiving us in advance. Special thanks to Wagner Media for their expertise and equipment in making this night possible.
