The Brickhouse Brewery WPKN Long Island Benefit
WPKN (Bridgeport, CT - 89.5 fm & wpkn.org) is especially pleased to announce its next benefit concert on Long Island at the Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue in conjunction with The Food Pantry of the Congregational Church of Patchogue (attendees to this event are simply asked to bring whatever they can spare in non-perishable food items (canned food etc). Four of Long Island's best musical outfits will rock the house and help WPKN keep broadcasting its eclectic mix of music, real news and community programming. Gene Casey, with his group The Lone Sharks will flex their maximum rhythm 'n twang muscles, while the hardest working man on Long Island, Mick Hargreaves and The 'King Men come to the Brickhouse along with The Electrix and retro soul-popper Danny Kean dusts off his Stevie W & Curtis M chops for an afternoon of righteous groovin' with that funky "Thang".
