N'dambi & Keite Young at the Fine Line
Thee Urbane Life & Canvas Ent. are proud to present an evening of (N.E.O.)Soul with N'dambi & Keite Young, Thurs., May 24th at the Fine Line Music Cafe, 318 1st Ave. N.
N'dambi - Most of us were first introduced to N'dambi's soulful, funky vibe and beautiful voice when she was on stage backing Erykah Badu. And even at that time, we saw N'dambi's star was ready to shine. Signed to the legendary Stax Records, N'dambi's critically acclaimed "Pink Elephant" earned a 2011 Grammy nomination. The May 24th show is N'dambi's first performance in Minneapolis in nearly three years.
Keite Young - Mentored by the late great, Waymon Tisdale, Keite gave music fans a gem with the Hidden Beach Records released "The Rise and Fall of Keite Young." The beautiful N'dambi duet, "If We Were Alone" made the CD a must have for soul music lovers. Keite, who plays several instruments, offers one of the most powerful live shows in soul music.
This show is part of the N.E.O. (New Era Of) Soul music series. N'dambi & Keite will be backed by Ten17 and The Divine Collection.
