Broadway musical theatre takes center stage at Pride Films and Plays' 2012 spirited benefit "And the Winner WASN'T II - The Tony Award Version" on Tuesday, June 5, at Sidetrack, 3349 North Halsted.
Doors open at 7 pm, with a program from 7:30 to 8:30 featuring Chicago's best musical theater talent.
The evening pays tribute to the memorable -- and highly "note-worthy" -- Tony Award-nominated musicals that did not take home the coveted Antoinette Perry trophy.
The host for the evening will be PFP Board President Keith Stoneking, joined by PFP Ensemble Member Patrick Rybarczyk who will be asking trivia questions about the Tony Awards.
Tickets are $20, and include one drink voucher and one chance to win a door prize - which include theater tickets, gift certificates, and a special grand prize!
With Randy Buehler at the piano, our entertainment for the evening includes the city's most talented musical theater performers singing songs from Broadway Musicals Nominated for Best Musical, but that did not win!
Don't miss Jon Landvick, Chad Ryan, Kris Hyland, Lee Wichman,Lili-Ann Brown,Bethany Thomas,Meghan Murphy,Bree Gordon, Michelle McKenzie-Voigt, David Geinosky, Justin Kilduff, Kyrie Anderson, and Mark Jacob Chaitin.
