2016 Gala - Spirit and Song

Join us for an elegant afternoon with a silent auction, delectable delights of the palate, wine, and song. Enjoy a performance by the PWC and special guest Mezzo-Soprano Amy Bouchard.

Amy Bouchard is an accomplished performer, frequently featured in concerts and events throughout the Bay Area. Ms. Bouchard has performed lead and supporting roles with numerous opera companies in the U.S. and in Europe, having sung her debut role in Salzburg, Austria. A finalist in the St. Paul Schubert Club Competition and the Roy A. Schussler Vocal Competition, Ms. Bouchard was one of only nine singers selected through national auditions for Opera Santa Barbara's Young Artist Apprentice Program where she performed in their main-stage productions of Carmen and The Merry Widow. Most recently she joined the Spokane Symphony as the Mezzo-Soprano soloist for their New Year's Eve performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. A versatile artist, she includes cabaret and jazz standards in her repertoire and for two years was the featured soloist with the Vanderbilt Jazz Band.
