Event
Brunswick December 2015 St Mary Schola
This program opens with the riotous processional from the Feast of Fools. Followed by ecstatic chants from Medieval Spain, luminous choral works from the High Renaissance by Byrd and Monteverdi and invigorating pieces from the Baroque era. Closing the concert are Bach arias and Charpentier's Magnificat, complete with period instruments: lute, organ and recorder.
Pre-concert talk at 7:00PM.
Concert is to be performed in Portland, Falmouth and Brunswick, with a post-concert gala immediately following the Falmouth concert hosted by The Episcopal Church of St Mary's "Sparkles" group. (The gala is a part of the church's annual fundraiser. All concert attendees are invited to attend).
Seating is first come first served, please plan to arrive early for the best seat options. Given the limited seating options in Falmouth, we strongly recommend advance ticket purchases.
NOTE: Online ticket sales end 12 hours prior to concert start time, after that, you may purchase tickets at the door the day of the concert.
