Rosalind Blair, CBJC cofounder, created Jazz! The Women's Viewpoint a core program of the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium. One of the primary goals of this event is to give women an opportunity to participate in the discourse of the music industry's dynamics. Another aim is to give females an opportunity to share experiences. The panel is open to female: musicians, educators, industry executives, media personnel, and wives of jazz artists.
