"Stiletto" Film Premiere
"Stiletto," a short film in the Neo-Noir style, created by up-and-coming Chicago-based filmmakers at Hesperidian Productions, will premiere at the Portage Theatre on March 30th, 2012. The event is free and open to the public.
"Stiletto," a tale of vengeance, love, and decay, breathes new life into a classic genre by blending contemporary themes with the visual style, narrative conventions and character archetypes of Film Noir. The film's achievements in lighting and cinematography are matched by riveting direction and powerful performances in a suspenseful story that keeps the audience guessing until the final frames.
The "Stiletto" premiere will include live performance, music and a post-performance Q-and-A session with the director, producer and actors. Come walk the red carpet, get your photo taken, and enjoy a cash bar presented by the Portage Theatre.
General Admission seating is FREE. The doors open at 8 PM and the show begins at 8:30. Reserved tickets for general admission can be obtained with no service charge through Brown Paper Tickets. Reserved ticket-holders will be admitted first.
