Buffalo Bed-Stuy Secret Dinner
In 1886, famed cowboy, showman and adventurer William "Buffalo Bill" Cody brought Mexican food to New York City with a pop up restaurant at Madison Square Garden. Part of his world renowned Wild West show, the pop up gave many New Yorkers their first taste of Mexican food, and the city was never the same.
While we tip our hats and recognize what Mr. Cody did for Mexican food on the East Coast we'd like to honor the nameless Mexicans (mostly women) who cooked and served the food 129 years on the island of Manhattan. This evening we will be featuring dishes inspired by the original menu and live music.
Seating is limited so buy your tickets while they last!
