Dust Devil 2012
1 Track, 10 Teams, 3 Days, 1 Champion!
Tucson Roller Derby (TRD) and Arizona Roller Derby (AZRD) are proud to co-host the 5th Dust Devil tournament in Tucson, AZ, 13-15 April 2012.
The 2012 Dust Devil will feature 10 competitive teams from far and near! This year marks the first international Dust Devil as the Victorian Roller Derby League will be traveling to Tucson from Melbourne, Australia. The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls of Denver (the WFTDA #2 team in the West Region and WFTDA Championship participants) will also be in the Old Pueblo to compete for the tournament title along with TRD and AZRD and 4 more teams from Alaska, California, Colorado, and Texas. You won't want to miss this weekend full of derby!
Expect to be entertained with various activities in between derby action, which will include the musical talents of Al Foul on Sunday, April 15! A hopping afterparty with a KISS cover band will take place at Club Congress in downtown Tucson to round out the tournament weekend.
So come on down to the home of the Saddletramps, and enjoy some great derby action as the last chills of winter melt into spring!
Beer, beverages, food, and vendors will all be at the event!
$10- one person, single day
$25- tournament weekend pass
$30- up to 5 people, single day
(Note: All tickets will be $5 more at the door of the event.)
Kids 12 & under free with paid adult admission!
