Evan (Evan Sneider) is a young man with Down Syndrome who lives with his mother in a

it to romantically pursue Candy, whom he has loved since high school. Candy, now a barely-employed single mom, is facing financial

When Russ catches on to Candy and Evan's relationship, they become intertwined in a complex triangle of secrets, jealousy and
revenge. Despite everything, Evan struggles to remain a resilient, pure embodiment of human compassion. (USA, 2011, 94 min., color)

MUSICAL CHAIRS
Reception at 3:15pm
Film at 4:15pm

This sexy, pulse-pounding romance set in the scintillating, competitive world of ballroom dancing
follows the beautiful and vivacious Upper East Side Mia (Leah Pipes) who has a promising career as
a dancer and Bronx-born Armando (EJ Bonilla) who sweeps floors at the dance studio in exchange for
lessons. He dreams of a time when he will dance with Mia, but both their dreams are shattered when a
tragic accident confines Mia to a wheelchair, never to dance again. Armando dedicates himself to helping Mia overcome her painful
challenges and "dance" once more. Filmmaker Susan Seidelman (Desperately Seeking Susan, The Boynton Beach Club) conjures a story
of impossible dreams made true through the strength of the human spirit and the power of compassion and love. (USA, 2011, 100 min., color)
