Portland Vocal Consort presents world and northwest choral premieres at February 25-26 performances. Conducted by Ryan Heller, the ambitious Portland professional chamber choir offers new works by, Rober Kry, Timothy Stephens, Joan Szymko, Ethan Sperry and other Pacific NW Composers as well as the world premier of the winner of the Portland Vocal Consort Young Composer contest. "The northwest is such a hotbed for excellent choral music, and there's an abundance of great work going on here. We need to champion that as best as we can." Ryan Heller. Concert also features guest artists Pacific University Chamber Choir
