The Bushwick Book Club Seattle presents original music inspired by The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao

The Bushwick Book Club returns to Dusty Strings! The audience loved last season's concert of original songs inspired by Steve Martin's Born Standing Up. In this magical evening, you'll be treated to the world premiere of songs inspired by the book, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Junot Diaz. Performing are Seattle favorites Vince Martinez, Nottingham/Wicks, Matt Price, Alice Howe, Mike Votava, (An American Forest) Alex Van Tyul, Tai Shan, Tekla Waterfield, and Ben Mish! Don't miss this special event--complete with wine and beer--and a chance to talk books and music with some of Seattle's finest songwriters and musicians! Tickets can be purchased in advance at Dusty Strings, by phone at (206) 634-1662, or through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets are $5 for BBC members, $10 in advance for general public, or $15 at the door.
